Fix Issue with Arabic Numbers in Word (.doc) Format

If you are experiencing an issue where Arabic numbers appear in the wrong direction (e.g., typing 123 shows as 321), it is most likely caused by using the old Word 97-2003 format (.doc).

To resolve this issue, simply save the file in the newer .docx format.

Here's how you can do it:

  • Open your Word document.
  • Click on File in the top menu.
  • Select Save As.
  • Choose Word Document (*.docx) from the file type options.
  • Click Save.

After saving in the .docx format, the issue with the number direction should be fixed.
