After a windows update I started seeing an error while using remote desktop. error is as below.

solution to this error was to edit a specific part of the registry.

to do this open a textfile and enter the following

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\CredSSP\Parameters]
"AllowEncryptionOracle"=dword:00000002

and save the file with the extension .reg

double click and merge the file. this will solve the error.
